In the last two months I’ve been shooting a lot of personal work in hopes of pushing myself out of this funk I’ve been experiencing. I started to feel like I’ve falling into a routine that satisfies everyone’s expectations but my own. At the end of a each shoot I have a strong feeling of disappointment… that I could have done better. This intimate Joshua Tree session was a chance for me to create images of which I am truly proud. My hope is that these images will resonate with you and you will see the beauty in allowing me to capture the love you have for one another in a more intimate way. There is so much more to being a wedding photographer than making pretty pictures. When you look back at your engagement or wedding photos I want you be instantly transported back to that magic moment in time, with the same feelings your experiencing as you began your life together. I would love to hear from you if your open to the idea of allowing me to experiment in creating art for you, so that you will be able to relive these moments for the rest of your life. Thanks to Dani and Phillip for being open to experiment and for being truly awesome human beings.
These are incredible! Such beautiful + honest images 🙂
