After spending time with Seth and Olivia at Napa Valley State Park for their engagement session I knew their Wild Iris Retreat wedding was going to be a special one. These two are always trying to make each other laugh and anyone around them. Olivia and Seth’s wedding was a reminder to me of why I love shooting weddings. Being able to capture their unique wedding makes me think I could never make a living any other way. The wedding ceremony at Wild Iris Retreat was co-officiated by their best friend’s along with a sing-a-long by Seth’s sister. I don’t think I ever seen so many smiles, laughs, and tears during a wedding ceremony. It was truly a beautiful and meaningful ceremony. I could tell they really put in the effort to make it special and memorable. After the ceremony it was party time besides the few additional couple portraits during sunset. I’m happy I convinced both of them to spin around like the famous scene in the movie Titanic. It ended up being one of my favorite images from 2017.
