It’s taken me a long time to be able to say I’m a Wenatchee Wedding Photographer. Matt and Warryn contacted me to capture their Washington State wedding after a Black Friday promotion I offered through Offbeat Bride. Their wedding took place at a family home along the Columbia river. The ceremony was held near the river and the cocktail hour was on the front lawn of the family home. Most weddings have one food truck, but not this wedding. The catering included a taco truck, BBQ, and wood fired pizza. Along with freshly baked donuts by Blissful Bites. With the help of Six Walls they converted the neighborhood’s tennis/basketball court into a beautiful outdoor reception space. At sunset the couple and I drove up to the top of the bluffs to capture the epic landscapes with the Columbia River. We were in quite a rush like most weddings to get back to the party and made the mistake of accidentally leaving Matt’s glasses behind. Luckily we didn’t have to waste too much time trying to find them. Music entertainment was performed by Andrew Landers Band. Andrew surprised the couple with a one of a kind song about their love story. I’ve seen a lot of wedding bands perform over the years, but never have I seen a band perform such a unique and beautiful song for the lovely couple. I hope to book more weddings near Wenatchee because my family is nearby and it’s always nice to have a reason to visit.
