Karen and Nolan’s University of California Botanical Garden Wedding was a reminder of why I absolutely love shooting at this Berkeley wedding venue. The redwood ceremony site during sunset is gorgeous. Nolan and Karen prepared for their wedding in their apartment with incredible views of the Bay Bridge. Seems like more couples want to get ready together and I have to say I really like this new trend. Couples getting ready together always seem more relaxed. Karen is the kind of bride every wedding photographer dreams about. She was laid back and down for any of my ideas. Most importantly she was the most expressive and happy bride I think I’ve ever had the opportunity to photograph. I didn’t know it was humanly possible to keep a smile all day long.
