Brett and Coale’s Stanford Inn elopement wasn’t option A like most couples attempting to get married during COVID-19. The original plan was to get married at OVY Camp last year. At the beginning of the pandemic I was upset about weddings having to reschedule. Now I’m starting to enjoy it because the new plans mean more amazing wedding pictures. Especially when couples like these two decide to get married in Mendocino County. Mendocino Headlands State Park was very windy last Saturday. It made it difficult to capture my usual photos because of the extreme wind. You can’t tell how windy it was from the photos. I recommend checking out my instagram reel from their wedding day to see how insane the wind was.

Here’s a quote from the email I received from Brett shortly after delivering their wedding online gallery, “We are still beaming from the weekend. Thank you so much for joining us on the special occasion and capturing such stunning photos. We were seriously so impressed with the output given the challenging tornado of wind that was circling us. Only a true professional artist could have made that environment work, so THANK YOU. ”
