San Francisco Engagement Photos at Baker Beach

Shooting San Francisco engagement photos at Baker Beach never gets old. I’m always discovering new spots and the light on a sunny day is absolutely the best. This year has started off with lots of rescheduling due to the rain, however Julia and Chris picked the perfect Sunday for an engagement session. Their dog George made a small appearance in the photos at the beginning of the engagement session and attempted to runaway when he was given a small leash less window. I should probably stop posting images from this somewhat unknown location in the Presidio because even on a beautiful sunny weekend day there’s few people exploring this particular spot. Tourists and locals are too busy enjoying the warmer weather on the coast line than this location in the Presidio. I highly recommend scheduling an engagement session on a weekday because there’s way less people to deal with. Even though we were shooting on one of the more busiest times at Baker Beach our patience paid off and my not so secret spot for photos with the Golden Gate bridge in background was all ours for the ten minutes of sunset light. I’m really looking forward to capturing Chris and Julia’s wedding near Santa Cruz in August this year.
