To be honest I had no idea if Ryan and Rory’s Pigeon Island National Park St. Lucia engagement session was going to be worth it. I’ve never been to Saint Lucia before and we only had a small window of time to make their engagement session happen. If you research Pigeon Island online it’s hard to tell if it’s going to make for a pretty backdrop. There’s no way to go early in the morning because the national park doesn’t open until 9am. Pigeon Island is definitely worth it. You have amazing views from the top and old ruins you walk around in. Right after we finished the session the island was hit by torrential rain. I’m so happy we stuck with our original plans. I would love to have the chance to go back and shoot another engagement/wedding/day after session because I only took advantage of a small part of Saint Lucia.
These photos are amazing! I love your editing and your work! I actually found this because I’m researching spots for one of my couples to do a first look on the day of their elopement at St. Lucia. Could I potentially ask you a few questions about Pigeon Island? My flight is getting in too late on the day of their rehearsal for me to adequately scout this spot before the wedding! If you don’t mind, I’d love to send you an email!
