I have to thank Instagram for helping Samantha and Mike discover my work and be one of the lucky non-local wedding photographers to have the pleasure of being a Kekaha Harbor House wedding photographer. Mike prepared for the day at the beautiful Kiahuna Plantation Resort Kauai with his groomsmen. While Samantha got ready at the Kekaha Harbor House. There was lots of rain predicted in the forecast. I was extremely nervous rain would be an issue on the big day. Luckily the Harbor House is located on the driest part of Kauai. We were really lucky and had overcast weather for most of the wedding, which always makes for better photos. We even had great sunset light on the beach for the second round of couple photos. I was really surprised how fast the sun set behind the tree line. Even though I wasn’t fully prepared for how fast we lost the sunset light we were still able to take full advantage of the secluded beach. The night ended with lots and lots of dancing along with a fire pit for s’mores. Marlene the owner of Mira Mira Events was an absolute dream to work with and might just be nicest person on the entire island of Kauai. I highly recommend her for any of your Kauai wedding planning needs. Thanks again Mike and Samantha for allowing me to capture your wedding day. If it wasn’t for your wedding I would have probably never got around to visiting Kauai.
FABULOUS candid pictures….so much love….perfect!
