James and Laura’s Evergreen Lodge wedding in Yosemite National Park was one of my favorite weddings I captured in 2016. Seven months prior to the wedding celebration I had an awesome time shooting their engagement session on the rooftop of their apartment building and at Baker Beach in San Francisco. James and Laura were up for any of my crazy ideas, so I knew their Yosemite wedding would be a blast. Looking back now we were lucky to have summer like weather in October. The weekend before and after the wedding Evergreen Lodge was hit by lots of bad weather. James is a hobbyist photographer, so he understands what it takes to get quality photos. He strategically selected the perfect location for the outdoor ceremony based on how the light would come through the trees. These two were amazing to work for. The best part was I was able to hangout with them the following day and shoot in all of my favorite places in Yosemite National Park including Glacier Point. Be sure to check out the other blog post from the day after session.
