This Big Sur engagement session almost didn’t happen for two reasons. I left the house extremely early like I always do and still ended up in terrible traffic around San Jose. I was still on time, however I didn’t have any time to scout. By the time I parked I was in a full panic because I can’t stand being late. When I got out of the car a state park employee told me the campground is full and the park is closed, which would ruin our plans. After an explanation and a long pause he agreed to let us continue on our way. Our time in Big Sur definitely wasn’t ideal, but I still captured lots of photos I like. I look forward to another engagement session in Big Sur hopefully with a lot less stress involved.
