Geoff and Ederlyn’s Adrift Hotel Wedding was perfect. You would never think this was a summer wedding based on the images, however the weather made for the perfect lighting conditions for photos throughout the day. A lot of people think a sunny day makes for great photos opportunities, which isn’t true. The perfect wedding weather would be overcast for most of the day and then have the sun break through the cloud cover for the last hour of sunset. We weren’t lucky enough to have sun break through the cloud cover, but I didn’t mind it neither did the bride or groom. Geoff is a photographer and picked this spot because he knew the light would be amazing no matter what the weather decided to do during their wedding day. And he was right! With cloudy or sunny weather the hip boutique wedding venue offers stunning views. The night before Geoff and Ederlyn’s wedding I experienced one of the most stunning sunsets from the the top floor of the hotel’s restaurant Pickled Fish. Long Beach, Washington is a must see spot and ideal small coastal town to host your wedding. Thanks again Geoff and Ederlyn for allowing me to be part of your big day!
